MICRO TEACHING SKILL OF INTRODUCING A LESSON

My first microteaching session on the chapter “An Unstoppable Soul Surfer” was both meaningful and memorable. Standing in front of the class as a teacher for the first time was an exciting experience, though I felt a little nervous at the beginning. As the session progressed, I gradually became more comfortable and confident in delivering the lesson. This experience helped me understand the realities of classroom teaching, including lesson planning, classroom interaction, and effective communication with students. It also allowed me to identify my strengths and areas where I need improvement. Overall, the session was a valuable learning opportunity that strengthened my passion for teaching and motivated me to work harder. I look forward to developing my skills further and becoming a confident, effective, and inspiring teacher in the future.

The entire campus was filled with festive vibes, decorations, and cheerful faces, making the day truly special for all of us. The celebration included a variety of vibrant programmes. Different departments actively participated and presented wonderful performances. Our department performed a dance, and it was an exciting and proud moment for us. The stage came alive with music, rhythm, and enthusiasm as students showcased their talents through songs, dances, and other entertaining programmes. One of the sweetest moments of the day was the cake cutting ceremony. We enjoyed delicious cake and wine together, sharing laughter and festive cheer. The lunch arranged for us was absolutely yummy, and everyone enjoyed the meal wholeheartedly. The afternoon session was filled with excitement as we exchanged gifts with our Secret Christmas friends. The surprise element made it even more fun and memorable. Wa...

A Memorable Day at Kuthira Malika Palace Some trips stay in our hearts long after they end, and our monument visit to Kuthira Malika Palace on November 5th was definitely one of them. What started as a simple educational excursion turned into a day filled with discovery, laughter, and unforgettable memories with friends and teachers. The excitement began early in the morning as we gathered at the railway station. Traveling together by train made the journey special even before we reached our destination. The cheerful conversations, shared snacks, and endless photographs created a lively atmosphere that made the hours fly by. As the train rolled into Thiruvananthapuram, our anticipation grew stronger—we were finally about to visit one of Kerala's most beautiful historical landmarks. When we arrived at Kuthira Malika Palace, the first thing that caught our attention was its stunning architecture. Before stepping inside, we couldn't resist taking several group photographs in fro...

Kerala Piravi is always a special day for every Malayali heart, and this year, our college celebrated it with immense pride and joy. The programme was beautifully organised by the college union, and the entire campus reflected the vibrant spirit of Kerala’s culture and tradition. The highlight of the day was the traditional attire. All the students were gracefully dressed in Kerala sarees, and even our teachers joined us, wearing elegant Kerala sarees that added dignity and charm to the celebration. The sight of everyone dressed in white and gold created a truly mesmerising atmosphere, making the college look like a scene from a cultural fest. The programme began with warm greetings and cultural performances. Students presented a melodious group song that filled the auditorium with harmony and unity. There were also various dance performances that showcased Kerala’s rich artistic heritage. I was thrilled to be a part of the celebration as I performed a dance in front of my friend...

My Fifth Day of the Induction Programme March 04, 2026 The fifth and final day of my induction programme on 14 November 2025 was both meaningful and memorable. I began the day with the aim of completing the remaining portion of the chapter for the eighth standard and preparing the question and answers for the students. Since many teachers were still absent, we trainees continued to engage the available classes throughout the day. By this time, interacting with students felt more natural and comfortable. The morning started with a special Children’s Day assembly, which created a lively and cheerful atmosphere in the school. Later, a medical check up was conducted for the students to record their height, weight, sugar levels, and other basic health details. We assisted the medical staff in organizing and guiding the students during the process. After lunch, most classes were given physical training periods, and many students came to speak with us, making the day feel warm and inter...
