Whispers in the Paracosm: A Night of Shadows and Imagination There are days when the classroom feels ordinary-just walls, desks, and a blackboard. And then there are days when imagination spills out like ink in the dark, transforming every corner into something strange, thrilling, and unforgettable. Our English Club exhibition was one such day. It was conducted on 22nd of August 2025. The classroom was no longer a classroom. With dimmed lights, eerie shadows, and flickers of candle-like glow, it transformed into something that felt caught between dream and nightmare. The central theme was inspired by Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, a haunting tale of beauty, decay, and the terrifying cost of eternal youth. The air itself seemed to hum with whispers, as though every desk and wall had absorbed a secret. This was not an ordinary exhibition.
